Emirates and Dilmah Tea Celebrate International Tea Day with Exclusive Offerings

Dubai, UAE – May 21, 2025 – In a delightful celebration of International Tea Day on May 21st, Emirates and its long-standing partner, Dilmah Tea, are marking 33 years of successful collaboration by offering complimentary luxury leaf artisan tea packs to customers on all flights. This commemorates a remarkable partnership that sees over 33 million cups of tea served annually.

Customers on flights exceeding 2.5 hours will receive a special edition gift box containing a trio of Dilmah’s most celebrated teas: the Emirates Signature Tea – Dombagastalawa FBOP1 with Rose, Almond, and Ginger; Moroccan Mint Green Tea; and Ceylon Tea with Strawberry.

Beyond the skies, Emirates Lounges worldwide will be joining the festivities, offering crafted Dilmah tea cocktails and mocktails, alongside traditional hot teas expertly paired with sweet treats. First and Business Class customers in Dubai lounges will enjoy an exclusive Dilmah Elixir mocktail and cocktail, paired with fragrant coconut vanilla cake, lemon cake, and apple tart. From May 15th to 31st, cabin crew on flights from Dubai to the UK will provide Dilmah tea pairing tips for the Afternoon Tea service in First and Business Class.
